Hansome Hari

Hari Jindal to me Hansome Hari, all those years ago i knew somehow our paths would mean I would care for you. It has been an honour to spend the last year caring for you. There has been difficult days, exhausting times, sad times and scary times especially christmas eve when you tested every nurse/medical skill i had in the bag. I am so grateful it wasn't yoir time to go and you pulled through. It was so special to have watched and been part of you celebrating your birthday, diwali, christmas, new year, Kiran and Mrs Jindals birthdays.

You didn't always show your love in the traditional way but our conversations and your memories of your family made it very clear how much pride and love you had.

You were so lucky to have such a devoted wife Mrs Jindal "the boss" who did everything for you and cared so gently for you. Without her your journey on this earth wouldn't have been so special.

I will miss our physio sessions, shaving you, sitting in the garden, playing games, maths and crafts, listening to you read the news paper, eating delicious food with you but most of all I will miss our conversations listening to your stories of where you have travelled to, your family and our shared love for elephants how you said you would take me to India one day to see them. I will miss you asking me "what time?" When I told you I would see you tomorrow.

You were so much more than a patient to me you became family and I will always be grateful Jessica asked me to help out. I hope you have found peace and will now look over and protect Mrs Jindal.

I am not sure what time I will see you again Hansome Hari but I do know I will carry the memories forever.

To the Jindal family thank you for letting me care for dad.

Love always

"Nurse Lisa" xxxx
